Call for application Master of Arts in Development Studies

The College of Arts and Social Sciences wishes to inform interested candidates of the 5th intake of the Master of Arts in Development Studies, programme starting in April 2017.

Duration: Four semesters. The first three semesters are dedicated to thought courses and the final 4th semester is for research and thesis writing. The teaching takes place during the weekend.

Teaching location: Huye and Kigali (Gikondo campus).

Tuition fees: Frw 2,250,000 for National and EAC Citizens. International additional 20% of the National and EAC fees. Research cost not included.  Further information: www.ur.ac.rw

Criteria for Admission:

  1. An Upper 2nd Class Honours Degree, or equivalent meritorious academic record, or,
  2. A Lower 2nd Class Honours Degree (or equivalent) with minimum of three year's work in a Development-related field
  3. Computer literacy is essential
  4. Good command of the English Language
