The National Itorero Commission was represented by Ms.Aline Niwemukobwa who was the chief guest.

The CMHS Principal’s remarks to the attentive audience centered mainly on what legacy students intended to leave behind upon completion of their studies at UR, Patriotism, behaviour and attitude while on and off the campus, having a positive work attitude, and continue to positively portray the country’s image within and outside the country especially through social media. She thanked the students guild committee for organising such a successful induction week.

During the function, the guild committee representative handed in the performance targets they intend to achieve in conjunction with the students community and with support from the University administration during the current academic year.

Both the NIC and District officials encouraged students to stay away from reckless behaviour and negative peer groups that may lead them into drunkenness and sexual immorality that can cause them to fail in achieving their intended goals of academic excellence while at the University.
